Abstract

The amount of available oceanographic data is rapidly growing thanks to the autonomous measuring systems and to the increasing number of accessible repositories. The relationship between source data and other resources like scientific publications becomes essential. The challenge for the scientific institutions is to develop a strategy to ensure its long-term data accessibility with a clear acknowledgement of data originators.
